Which links you can send

Supported platforms, URL formats, and discovery coverage.

The video field accepts a URL from any supported source. The platform is detected from the link, so there is nothing to configure and no per-platform endpoint to choose.

Supported sources

  • YouTube - watch URLs, youtu.be short links, /shorts/ URLs, or a bare 11-character video ID
  • TikTok - post URLs and vm.tiktok.com short links
  • Instagram - Reels, feed videos and IGTV
  • Direct media - a public URL ending in mp4, mp3, wav and similar

Search and listing coverage

Channel or profile listing and keyword search support YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Playlist listing supports YouTube and TikTok. Every returned row carries a URL that the transcript endpoint accepts directly.
